Share Jira work items with the companies you work with
Collabound connects your Jira to the organizations around it: clients, vendors, agencies, and outsourced teams. Each partner works in its own portal, sees only the work items and fields you allow, and their updates land back in Jira. Nobody becomes a Jira user.
Partner organizations first, secure links for one-offs
Clients, vendors, and agencies you work with regularly become partner organizations: connected once, with their own portal, users, and roles. For a one-time recipient, share by secure link to an email address instead. Neither needs an Atlassian account or a Jira seat, and partners never add to your bill.
Share the work item, not the project
Pick the ticket a partner needs and share just that. Nothing else in the project, the space, or your Jira site is exposed.
Choose the fields that leave Jira
Content access templates control which fields, comments, and attachments are visible or editable outside. Internal notes, estimates, and custom fields stay inside. Set per site or project, override per partner.
Comments, files, and status flow back
When a partner comments, attaches a file, or changes status, it lands in the Jira work item. Your team keeps working in Jira; nobody copies and pastes.
Both directions
Partners can share their own work items back to you. If they run Jira too, shared items appear in each Jira under “Shared with us”, and neither company adds users to the other.
Revoke, expire, audit
Set an expiry on every share, revoke in one click, disconnect a partner to end everything at once, and see who accessed what and when in the audit log.
Governed by administrators
Sharing permission templates define who may share and with which partners. Team members share within those rules, so no one has to approve every share.
